Do we need to sign a retainer or commit to a minimum volume?+

No. There is no retainer, no upfront fee and no minimum commitment. You brief a role, we run the search, and you pay 7% only if and when you hire. Volume pricing is available for firms placing 5+ roles per quarter.

How quickly will we receive candidates?+

For standard middle and back office roles, shortlists are typically delivered within 5–7 working days of the role brief being agreed. More specialist or senior roles may take a little longer, and we will always give you a clear timeline upfront.

What is the replacement guarantee?+

If a placed candidate leaves within 90 days of their start date, Finhired will run a replacement search at no additional placement fee. This applies to all standard placements.

How often will you contact me?+

What if I'm passively looking and not actively job hunting?+

When exactly do employers pay?+

You pay only when a candidate we introduce accepts an offer and starts in role. There is no fee for sourcing, screening, shortlisting or any other part of the process — only on a successful hire.

Is the 90-day guarantee a full refund?+

Yes. If a candidate leaves or is dismissed within 90 days, we run a full replacement search at no extra fee. If we cannot place a suitable replacement, a full refund of the placement fee applies.

What counts as the salary for the fee calculation?+

The fee is calculated on the candidate's first-year base salary only. Bonus, benefits, pension and variable compensation are excluded.

Are there any hidden fees?+

None. No registration fee, no monthly platform fee, no interview fee. You pay 7% of first-year base salary, once, on a successful placement.

How does volume pricing work?+

Firms placing 5 or more roles per quarter qualify for volume pricing. Contact us to discuss — the discount applies to placements above the threshold as a reduced percentage fee.

What if I already know the candidate?+

No fee applies if you are already actively engaged with a candidate in your own recruitment process at the time Finhired introduces them. We will ask you to confirm this in writing.

Do candidates ever pay anything?+

No. Finhired is completely free for candidates at all times. We do not charge joining fees, subscription fees or any other fee — now or ever.

Do you cover contract or interim hires?+

Yes. For contract and interim hires, the fee is calculated as 7% of total compensation for the contracted period (up to 12 months). Contact us to discuss specific arrangements.
